Master’s Candidate, Master’s-Level Intern, Bachelor’s in History with Psychology minor. “I believe in strategies that foster continued support and empowerment that are tailored to your specific goals.”
I received a Bachelor of Arts from Shepherd University in History and a Psychology minor. I am currently in my final year of graduate studies at Salisbury University Master of Social Work Program. I am a member of Phi Alpha, Social Work Honors Society and a student representative on Salisbury University’s Department of Social Work Curriculum and Instruction Committee.
In my training, I have worked with adults and children in a variety of public and private agency settings working on co-parenting and social skills through individual and group counseling. During my graduate work, I will be expanding on this knowledge and experience while working with adults and children on various mental health issues.
In my transition from a student to a licensed Social Worker, I hope to create a space where you feel safe and comfortable sharing with me the challenges you face without judgment. I believe that you are the expert in your thoughts and feelings and deserve an active role in your treatment. I believe in strategies that foster continued support and empowerment that are tailored to your specific goals. I appreciate you allowing me to be a part of some of the most difficult times in your life. Together, we can work through them.
