Hello, I am Elaine (Eli) M. Zuercher, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) practicing at our San Antonio, TX office. My journey in the field of social work began when I graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio in 2016. My passion for mental health and helping clients navigate life’s challenges led me to pursue my clinical license, allowing me to support individuals in becoming the best version of themselves.

I find immense satisfaction in helping clients identify their goals and witnessing their achievements. In my practice, I primarily utilize therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused approaches. These approaches enable me to work effectively with clients to address a wide range of mental health concerns.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with diverse populations and various mental health challenges. I have experience working with teenagers and adults who face conditions like schizophrenia/schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, and major depressive disorder. Additionally, I am an affirming LGBTQIA+ clinician, providing support to clients as they explore and navigate issues related to sexuality, gender identity, coming out to family and friends, and gender transitions.
