Ellen received her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Maryland–Baltimore, in 2020. Over the past several years, she has worked with adults and children in community mental health, public and charter schools, and non-profits in Maryland and Washington, DC. Ellen is trained in trauma-informed cognitive behavioral therapy and has worked with both groups and individuals, to help them process grief and trauma. She is trained in client-centered and attachment-based perspective, though she always looks to incorporate new techniques to help clients, according to their needs.
Ellen believes in meeting you where you’re at, creating an emotionally safe space where you can open up about anything – everything from life changes, trauma, or relationship difficulties. Together, the two of you can work to explore your challenges, achieve insights, and find ways to make meaningful improvements in your life.
Ellen looks forward to getting to know you!
