Heidi Marlatt, LCMFT

I’m a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT), with over 15 years in the military, more than 6 years working with Veterans, adolescents and teens in an inpatient psychiatric hospital, as well as in the homes of families in severe crisis, and 3 years of experience as the Mental Health Supervisor at a County Detention Center.

I earned my graduate degree from the University of The Rockies, Colorado Springs, CO, – Master of Arts Psychology, Specialty in Marriage and Family Therapy, 2012.

My goal is to provide guidance and support that will allow you the opportunity to process, learn, and grow from the challenges that have impacted your life.

Using a holistic therapeutic approach, we can work together to help identify the cause of the personal challenges and work through them by developing proven coping skills and a plan to implement the changes you seek. I use a client centered approach while incorporating different modalities that best suit not only the client but also the situation. Some of the modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma Treatment, Solution Focused, Eclectic Therapy, and specialized training from the Gottman Institute.

As a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist I have received extensive training and gained invaluable experience working with individuals, adolescents, and families. Coaching clients who are dealing with Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety, Relationships, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Mood Disorder, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Self-Esteem, Sexual Assault, Substance Abuse, Life and Parenting, Grief and Loss as well as many other issues is what I’m passionate about.

I look forward to meeting and working with you.
