Natalie comes to Serenity Place with over 8 years experience serving the Southern Maryland community in the public and non-profit realms as a case manager in Foster care and In-home Family Services, and as a Program Supervisor for an in-home parent support program.
Natalie received her Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences from the University of Maine Augusta, prior to moving to Maryland in 2012 with her husband Brady, and her two children; Koda and Cameron. She believes in the healing power and the beauty of nature and loves to take pictures of the plants and animals of St. Mary’s County.
Currently, she supports the professional team of Serenity Place in the Billing Department and as Administrative Assistant. She begins her internship with us in the Fall of 2021. Natalie will focus on client empowerment, learning about best practices for trauma, and will continue her work with underserved populations to increase access to and the importance of mental health.
