Fees and Insurance

The topic of payment, fees, and insurance can be complicated and confusing. Please read the information below and then feel free to contact us with questions or concerns you may have.

We accept BlueCross/Blue Shield (CareFirst), Cigna, Aetna, and Magellan.  Some of our providers are limited on which insurance they accept, but feel free to call us and ask.  We make every effort to accommodate our clients. Our main goal is to provide services when they are needed.

Please note: we are currently not accepting new clients with Tricare, United Health Care, Medicaid insurance coverage.

Payment is coordinated through our client portal.  We submit your claims for you and ask for a credit care to be on file for co-pays.  Our billing department will send invoices and is available to assist.

Please contact your insurance company for information about your co-pays and deductibles that need to be met. Most plans cover mental health services.

Good Faith Estimate Notice

Notice to clients and prospective clients:

Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, see your Estimate, or visit https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
